Pierson is a serial entrepreneur and digital marketing expert. Over the last ten years, he has worked in various capacities with more than 100 brands. Pierson focuses on integrated full-funnel strategies that combine the newest technologies with high impact creative and the fundamentals of brand marketing. With extensive expertise in paid social, he has overseen the deployment of over $100M in advertising spend across 20 advertising platforms. In 2019 he was recognized on Forbes 30 Under 30 list for his exceptional DTC work in the Food & Beverage space.
In high school, at the age of 15, Pierson worked with outdoor brands such as Salomon, Skullcandy and Electric Visual to direct, produce, and distribute multiple full-length action sports films. Although one of his films was picked up for international distribution, it was the initial experience of marketing and selling them online that ultimately sparked his obsession with eCommerce. As a freshman at Lehigh University, he founded Krass & Co., a specialty apparel brand. Pierson was able to raise seed money and scale Krass & Co. to $1M in annual while a full-time student. After exiting Krass & Co., Pierson served in a variety of interim marketing roles while an Operating Partner at a boutique private equity and advisory firm.
In his free time, Pierson likes to angel invest in startups and write for Forbes about entrepreneurship; otherwise he can be found eating, skiing, and hiking around Utah.
